A nonlinear path.
I’ve always liked making things. As a kid, that meant building small alarm systems and taking things apart. You’d be surprised how much you learn about a system when you take something that works apart and have to figure out how to put it back together before your parents come home. Anyway…
Since then, curiosity has taken me through music, immersive experiences, systems, software, hardware, and startups. Each field has changed how I approach the next.
When I’m not building something, I’m usually refining my morning coffee, experimenting in the kitchen, or sharing something I’ve learned.
Background

I’ve mixed records for artists in over 20 countries, with those records reaching hundreds of millions of streams. I’ve also consulted for companies and governments, designing systems that bring together technical detail and creative thinking.
Working style
Make it work.
I’m drawn to problems where the answer isn’t obvious yet. I like getting into the details, building a first version, and learning from what happens when people use it. The aim is to turn an idea into something that works in practice.
